Yes, thanks Zoltán, I really appreciate your further consideration of my requirement.

Trails is certainly useful if the image is moving, and I love the effect, but for a static image or an occasionally static live performer I usually want to add one or more of the following.
- scaling, often independently in X and Y
- hue shift
- rotation
- translation
- distortion

I usually modulate at least one of these extra effects with the music, to help preserve the dynamics of the visuals even if the source isn't moving.

Further to my interest in using Alex May's plugin to achieve almost everything I want, I emailed him to ask about a R7 version.

He replied very quickly:

" I started having a look at making a version for Resolume 7 but immediately ran into some issues with compiling their API. I opened an issue on GitHub, but they never responded, so I gave up for now!

I'd really appreciate it if you could follow this up. At the moment there's no alternative to Alex's plugin for R7. I know personally of at least one other Resolume 7 user who would love this - it's not just me!
