Are you using the latest Resolume?
It has memory leak fixes with capture cards.

Really? Haha. No, I try not to update, always have to go find plugin directories again etc. It's a PITA to be honest. But if that will fix this, let's see

Edit 2: No, it's a frickin PITA. Why doesn't Resolume remember the audio plugins when it updates? Anyway....... Will reset it up, let you know how it turns out

Sent, thank you! Seriously, appreciate all your help. Apologies for my little moment of frustration yesterday when updating.

Weird that the system would say 95% memory usage, of the 64 GB I see about 30-31GB listed in the task manager.

If you open up Resolume and just play a particular clip or source, do you see the memory usage climb consistently?
If you don't change clips or decks, the usage should stay about the same.

Well, let's see. Just rebooted, restarted everything, turned off midi input. Will check in an hour or two, see where memory is at.

Looked at it about an hour ago, had gone down to about 45%, from 70% when it started. Looked at it just now, still about 45%.

Alright, try triggering some columns then. You should see a a bit of an increase in the usage right on trigger, but then the RAM and VRAM usage should stay steady.

Do you see the same hiccup on transition when Resolume is started fresh, and not using lots of RAM?

It always goes back to 90-95%, freezes/hangs/hiccups at transitions. So if I had, say, 384gb of RAM, would it still go to 90-95% and freeze?

And no, it seems pretty much fine (maybe a freeze on occasion) until the RAM goes up to 90-95%.
