What's wrong with windows 10 though?
Windows 10 is not so bad, but it would still mean a clean install for my laptop.
In win10 its easier to disable all the telemetry collection then win11.
But its live time also limited, it will not take long before its also not supported any more. Software and battery are the only things that really drives new sails.
A switch to win10 would be a comprise, a few year closer to modernity.
Maybe thinks will change and i then i switch, but for now i fine with win8.1
