Yes, Codanova VMX VJ is looking pretty swift with resolume and Modul8 for anyone with Mac. Im PC all the way though, I used Mac's and there so over rated. Posh persons play thing imo.

Anyways, i got someones layout on the VMX VJ which seems pretty solid, Im ordering on monday as the ReAct controller is just taking WAY too long unfortunitly. Here are the pics:-

And dont think its a problem me uploading these to give people an idea but if it is, just remove this post, I dont mind and i appologise if it is as you do actually sell your own controller

Just an update on the VMX VJ, I been trying get one for a few weeks no with no success from codanova themselves. They disapeared off the face of the earth!!! But alas, After weeks of searching i found a company who say (as i rang them direct in france) they'll have some in a few days and they'll send me one out ASAP :)

Codanova's page as 3 people still waiting and its been over a month. God knows whats going on. Maybe they ran out but no excuse for no response whatso ever, Specially the people who have already payed.

Heres the link to that shop anyways if anyone's been searching like me ;)

Weird.
When i ordered my VMX-VJ they confirmed my bank transfer the next day and i received my controller sooner then they said.

By the way:
the crossfaders of the vmx are verry smooth. but the normal faders were verry stif in the beginning. after a while they where getting smoother but not optimal.
I've opened the controller and i saw that the faders themself where ok, but they placed a foampad to prevent dirt/liquid getting in the controller. This foampad was placed oblique. so i replaced it, now it's working fine.

Ah right yes, I know what you mean, I have a Pioneer DJM-600 and that as them. Ill know what it is if i have that problem then ;) Cheers for pointing that out.

A few people have said what a excellent company they are, But obviously something has happened as no-one as heard a thing from them for month-half now.

Seems very strange indeed.

EDIT: And true to form, After i've paid an extra 30 euros (not bothered about that) for postage from a shop, a message appears on the VMX Forums

'Hi ,
during this sommer we had a big problem of delivery delay caused by a 4 weeks delay in our supply chain ( buying switch from germany ) ; maximum delivery time from the supplier was 5 weeks, at the end it was more than 8 weeks. This was one of our problems.
We are sorry for this delay ; we did ship last week with fedex all vmx vj , so you should receive it during this week.

We also have a vmxs1 waiting to be shipped but with missing shippig information ; this vmx should be shipped to Ireland ; please email me at jacques@codanova.com to clear this problem.

Once again, i am sorry for this huge delay that was not planned ...

jacques'

How typical is that. At least i know its on its way soon :)
