Wow a codec which fully supports alpha channels really look forward to that development - it could save a huge amount of time - going to play now and see how the DXV codec performs.

I had installed the DXV codec but found when I tried to load Adobe Premier Elements 3.0 this would not load and came up with an error message. I tried re-installing Elements and still the same problem.
I uninstalled the codec and Elements works fine now.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Hi Tim,
Elements version 3.0 seems a bit old, just checked the website and there are at version 7.0 at the moment.
So it's hard to test for us and maybe a good idea to upgrade to a more recent version?
But we will give this version 7.0 a go and see what happens.

yes... the new codec is perfecrt... it work'ed a charm with huge footages ( i have used it last week with the triplehead2go setup 3072x768), but i still have a problem with finding any software that could batch convert all of my footage. All mentioned befor softwares doesnt work for me. Batch converter doesn't wanna work on any of my comps ( win xp, and vista), i've used also river past video cleaner but it doesn't work also... or it works but after converting 15-25 files freezes. I'm waiting for proposition

The Batch Export Utility from Livid Instruments 'may' work. It's free. Couldn't hurt to try... i'm trying a batch from QT to DXV right now and it didn't take too long to convert 4 clips. I will see about other formats now.

(many thanks go out to the Livid guys - may not end up having to reinvent the wheel here)
