Xp Pro SP2, C2Duo 3ghz, BFG/nvidia 9800 GTX+ 512 Meg with nvidia v182.08 drivers
Tunnel has black screen, all other included effects are showing up.
** EDIT:It randomly seems to show the tunnel but it doesn't seem to be clip specific. I could select same file twice and it wouldn't show second time. Using PICVIDEO MJPEG 3 and DXV Codec 1.0 encoded files. (most are 640x480 res)

Thanks for the info everyone. I'm going to have another crack at finding the problem today.
Do other users that can't use the Tunnel plugin also have problems with the Sphere effect? Are there any other plugins that don't work? - That information could really help us track down which OpenGL feature it is that is causeing the problem on NVidia cards.
Many thanks,
Dan.

I have made a version of the plugin with some OpenGL features deactivated.
It is at:
http://www.syzygy-visuals.co.uk/downloa ... Tunnel.zip
Could those of you who have had problems with the Tunnel download it and see if it works for you? You just need to extract the dll file from the .zip and put it in the plugins/vfx folder of your Avenue installation.
(This dll will only work on Windows, not on Macs)
If this version of the plugin does work, it might look weird with some parameter settings due to the features I have turned off, but the basic tunnel effect should work.
Dan.

Same lack of effect here .. I just noticed one other consistent quirk with it. It _will_ appear if I add two of the tunnel stacked, then delete the top one. As the second one 'falls' to the primary position it then operates fine, you can change any setting or tunnel preset after. It 'feels' like a state issue of the plugin itself compared to a graphics glitch.
I've not noticed any of the other SyzGL plugs giving problems here.

Thanks for that extra info! That's a big clue.
I have another (experimental) plugin that has similar behaviour (that one works when another plugin is before it in the chain but not when it is the first) so hopefully I can now track down this pesky issue.
Cheers,
Dan.

Based on the new information, I've done another build of the plugin.
It is at:
http://www.syzygy-visuals.co.uk/downloa ... Tunnel.zip
Does this one fix the issue?
Thanks,
Dan.
