Thanks, i'm using Copilot on the runtime alone, then "save" and "save as" are disabled.

Need to install complete Max/MSP to get "save"?

Yeah, apparently can't save presets with the runtime version. I've changed to a different preset system that does work with the runtime, will post it Real Soon Now...

I've just uploaded version 0.6, that will support saving and loading presets when using the runtime. Let me know how it works.

Not works for me.
After set all slot, when close copilot, prompt me to save a file, but on open copilot again, nothing was saved (i try to open the saved file but nothing happen).
In the Max runtime windows say:
Code: Select all
error parsing patcher file cop_presets.json
parsing object, possible missing initial '{' character: line=1, char=2, text='...<'

Make sure you have the newest Max runtime, a lot of things were changed in the preset storage mechanism.
Also, when you're prompted to save the file, save it in the same folder as the copilot patch. It shouldn't prompt you after that. <--- important
Finally, you can't open the preset file directly - Max will think it is a patcher, which it is not.

Tap tempo and resync have been added, give it a try!
Note that the tap tempo button is also the resync button.
Also the tap tempo mechanism has a built-in guard time, it will block tempo changes that are erratic. If it doesn't seem to be changing, wait a couple of seconds, and then tap in the tempo again.
Fordster wrote:Thanks for the speedy reply! I understand what you're saying - I've used the tempo control from the patch and it works fine. However, when we've been demo-ing resolume, we've found that the tap tempo and sync buttons ar really necessary, as they keep us in time with the music.
If it isn't too much work, is it possible to add these to the patch? - It would be real handy to have the tap tempo and sync buttons on the patch so resolume could be kept in sync with a live source.
Thanks again for an excellent plug-in!

Yeah, indeed...
great work this patches, I think is something long time awaited to have in resolume, as we always had to do it externally via midi sequence..
it would be very handy to have something similar to the "sequencer" where you can trigger Cuepoints from the clips, that'll be awesome...
Thanks for sharing
Right on!
