Re: Midi Clock Woes

Just had another look at this slaving Resolume to midi clock output of Maschine software.
With no midi output from Maschine the sync is pretty good - maybe there are some minor issues but its when I start triggering clips via midi things start to go really haywire, bpm skips about etc.
Yeah use one app for audio, one for visuals, use two separate computers blah blah blah. Of course it makes sense but it takes all the fun out of it for me, its a workflow killer!
Its 2010 - can we not have one av app which allows you to take a/v clips and edit them, loop them, stretch them, render them without going back and forth between different apps on different machines, splitting audio and video files, trying to sync them up and then finally losing the will to live, giving up and watching x-factor instead.
Oh well no-one said it was going to be easy I guess - a decent zoom on the audio waveform in Avenue would be a damn good start. Anyway - off topic rant over. I just find it frustrating.
By the way there are pages and pages of moaning on the Live forum about shakey midi clock.
