- also, i would be very happy with a "tap" button that set a tempo, - clips could then be triggered from each beat, 2 beat/ 4 beat/ 8 beat etc - it's easy to "retap" the tempo now and then to keep it on track

i have one question, which i am not sure about if it has been answered yet...

resolume tended to play clips at different speeds, regarding to the system performance. ( so if i trimmed loops in all three layers to play in sync and then turned off 1 or 2 of these layers, the speed of the remaining increased dramatically....

will the fps-issue be fixed in resolume 2.0?

hope so.

BPM BPM BPM

Just Have a look on the BPM detector built in the AVS editor of winamp, witch is efficient. Check some params and if the music is not a sleeping ambiant one it work. They probably based it on high and low freqences .. and .. they done it, it's just enough.

Well, I think the best bpm detector is in the hands, and i work that way, but , i agree with Dan, for hundreds little fx like shakes motion, zoom, lights, fx's params, or wathever you want it could really give a lot.

Thx a lot for what's already done!

The resolume developers have mentioned that they are working on the speed consistency issue, so I guess it will be!
