Re: Loading Composition Decks Problem

Hi. I´d like to add my two cents here.
I am also suffering a lot, not specifically while loading compositions but while exchanging/selecting a deck tab.
It is taking from 5 to 15 seconds to exchange active decks. I know you guys are working hard to make this better as I know Avenue is a whole new code and I understand all points. But...
At first, I was running a 2400 x 600 (3x 800x600) composition. That´s huge, I understand. And I am glad that Avenue is capable of amazingly handling this! But decks were changing very slowly.
Then I downsampled all my content to a 640x480 basis. Today I am running a simple 640x480 composition and decks are still loading the very same way. So, I doesn´t seem related to my content size.
Anyway...my point is.. well... Avenue is a valuable tool and a great piece of software, indeed. But for default (as a VJ software) it can´t take so long to load decks in a live performance. This is almost unacceptable!
And I feel sorry to say that sometimes I miss R.2.4. How could I?
I run a MacBook Pro i7, 8GB ram, 500GB 7200rpm HD, 512 MB Video.
