i d like to be able to manage the the 20 footage avalaible and in my desk assign each footage to a special layer. For example, i use a midi keyboard, i assign first octave for footage 1-5 ( only the white key ), second octave is for 6-10 and so on .. so if i can assign footage 1-5 to layer 1, footage 6-10 to layer 2.. i dont need to chhooose a layer and after swith to a new footage, i dont need to manipulate something, dont need to see my computer screen , i m concentrate on my show and can swith quickly do you see what i mean and hoiw it could more efficient and powerfull durinf live show!

it would be cool, if you have a seperated layer-fade in/out option!
eg. when keying out some parts of the image and then fade the rest out slowly.

hope, u understand, what i mean... ;)

Numbers for the values in FX parameters section, they can be handy for setting things up.
Time controls for all the layers in the chaos function, with lower minimum times, could be used a V. basic sequencer, nice with the time switch (I like that!)
I liked right clicking in a layer thumbnail to clear the channel as well.
Being able to use my numpad keys and the prefs being saved! (thats a bug from 1.5! I can use them but have to set them up each time, now we've reassigned the F keys, need as many as possible!)

Good job guys! it looks good, make sure you keep the things in the last version that made it so popular, but don't make it too complicated, keep the logical simplicity.

agree with Cat, right clicking on layers to clear was very usefull, need it back please...

Been playng with it for a while now and I find that aplying 3 effects globaly with sound effecting the filters becomes quite messy... just too much happening over all the footage instead of specified layers, seems a waste of such a powerfull function...(option to be able to aply the effects to individual layer or globaly would be good)
Sometimes you dont want the bounce to incorporate some of the extreme setting on a filter, too messy and bussy ...how aboute music effecting the faders on each of the 3 channels ?

Definately need a bpm tap function sooner or later...

After a quick test -

Mos Def right click to clear channels. That X isn't in the ideal place - right clicking on a layer is a lot more logical.

Plugin folders - I guess this is locked by the coding of the program but again - if you can duplicate as well as move plugins on the menu - I want a favourites but need to keep them in their original locations for other VJ's playing off our copy of resolume. Ideally folders within the plugins directory would be just super.

The new folder navigation is heaps better - being able to use ctrl-A to select all in a folder would be great and a seperater line between folders and files on the list.

Also having a direct link to windows volume controls from the audio tab. Being able to add mic amplification or adjust in/out volume. Either as sliders or a button to open c:windowssystem32Sndvol32.exe.

i will be more simple, i d like to have the possibility to assign individually each of the 20 channel specially to one of the three layer and that can be different for different desk. id like to assign effect to one of the three layer exclusively. Favorite plugin folder is good idea.Maybe playing sound of footage as Vjjamm should be good too!
