For me it is very important, in order to know where I am, especially for theater events and presentations, which require maximum control of the situation, which is one of the important things that you would expect of a media server ...
Also next column and next deck, would be of great help.
Thanks Resolume team...
If res4 wont support columns my midi translator will
http://opularity.com/midi.php
even though res4 does support midi out I think im going to stick to this as it is more responsive

50% opacity fader in resolume does not correspond to 50% of the fader in my APC40...

This corresponds to how columns work in the interface, where they also do not stay on. I'll make a feature request to change this though.

Hmmm. I can't seem to recreate this. Tried it both on the layer opacity and effect opacity, and it all comes to 0.5 (or something very close to it, depending on my accuracy

)

Yes I know that is like that in the UI... And big thanks for the request...

It isn't very important but I find it strange...
Thanks Joris !!!

Well, the thing about a request is that it doesn't mean it's going to happen. In this case, we actually made a conscious decision to not leave the column triggers on (opposed to how it was in R3), because this doesn't necessarily correspond to which clips are actually playing (for instance when using the autopilot or just triggering clips manually). We found that for a lot of people this was actually confusing. The request is there so that the whole team knows that people are asking for the behaviour.
When you trigger a column, all clips on that column send their respective midi notes, so you do get visual feedback on where you are in a set when the clips are mapped. Is this something that you can work with?

Yes, yes I can, I suppose it is question of adapting and getting used...
Thanks
when I'm on autopilot or triggering clips manually I don't look at columns...
