There is a newer "TripleHead2Go SE" edition which converts displayports to 3 dvi-d ports.

I guess this will solve your problems because no analog involved.

I had a similar problem with DVI over Cat5.
the matrox doesn't output power over the outputs, so self powered DVI extenders wouldn't work.
