I got the same problem!!
slight freeze (fps 60 suddenly ->30) when playback the video (1080p)

MBP 15 2013 late
512G SSD
macOS 10.12.5

I try on arena 4 & 5 DXV codec 2 & 3 (even prores codec),got the same problem (slight freeze)

But

Play smooth when using external harddisk (thu TB Raid0)

Is that a macOS problem ?

do other apps hang as well?
for example try scrolling slowly in Chrome

How full is your hard drive?

Also, what kind of GPU do you have on your mac?

As a note DXV will run much smoother on Resolume than any of the ProRes codecs.

just half full 512G total 216used

NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB of GDDR5

I saw a reply said this is a memory problem (my RAM:16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3) "disabling OSC data has appeared to solve the issue." <--what is OSC data? how to disabling?
