HDBaseT will work with any resolution whether you're working with SMPTE, computer or custom resolution. Most projectors these days are WXGA or WUXGA and you just can't get that with SDI so when I work on projects that involve broadcasting, I use SDI between my server(s) and the switchers but I prefer HDBaseT to send my signal to the projectors.
Hi Oaktown! Could you give a link to the Gefen HDBaseT sender/receiver you use to get WUXGA (or WXGA) over Cat6?
Have been trying to do it with SDI, but looks like nothing will support a 1280x800 signal over it.

These are the models I use interchangeably:
http://www.gefen.com/kvm/ext-uhd-cat5-e ... d_id=15119 - I love the ethernet feature (webcontrol of projectors) and the fact you can power either end (cleans up my workstation)
http://www.gefen.com/kvm/gtb-uhd2irs-el ... d_id=15118 - Rock solid but discontinued
https://atlona.com/product/at-hdrx/ & https://atlona.com/product/at-hdtx/ - Discontinued Atlona makes great product but not all are 24V so if you want to be able to use POE with other models make sure you have matching power.

Awesome! Exactly what I needed-- you're right, the ethernet feature of the first will save me so much time in my current setup (having to repurpose the ethernet cables I originally pulled for web control).

Just one last question: I see 1920x1200 or "up to 1920x1200" mentioned quite a bit on the data sheets-- any idea if these will support 1280x800 as well? I can output 1920x1200 from my datapath, but I believe I will need to drop the frame rate to 30 or below to do it. My projectors only do 1280x800 native anyway, so was hoping to feed them at 60.

Thank you again for the response! Time to start watching Ebay.

Hello ! ;)

Sorry for my english, i am a hungarian musician/manager.

I have a datapathx4 .

We using 6 Led Tv (Full Hd each type)

We using a Hdmi splitter too.

Laptop Hdmi output –> sign to hdmi splitter in (with hdmi hdmi cable) -> sign to datapath in (hdmi-Dvi cale)-> four tv (2 Toshiba 48L644D TV and 2 Toshiba 48L344DG TV) (one picture on 4 tv) with DVI-Hdmi cables
->two separated tv (with hdmi hdmi cable) 1 tv 1 full picture 1920x1080

We have some problems :
-sometimes we have some green lines on four Datapath tvs (The 2 separated tv-s (from hdmi splitter) sign is ok,never green lines.
-if the datapath DVI in cables moving about 0,3mm -> not working

How do we fix this problems ? Please help me,we tryies many cables, but we noticed : no change.

Thank you ! ;)

What resolutions are you sending to the X4?
