Another thing, Zoltan:
If "Clickable Timeline" is the same as the YouTube video and I install it, does it come with CLEAR, SIMPLE instructions on how to use this, IN ENGLISH? or am I going to have a nightmare going back-and-forth bothering you for help?

Okay, I got it installed. But when I go to EDIT KEYBOARD in SHORTCUTS (pull-down menu), I don't see "COMPOSITION POSITION" in the Shortcuts Tab.
This is what your YouTube video says:

- Zoltan YTube Video example
- Screen Shot 2020-04-22 at 6.11.43 AM.png (22.29 KiB) Viewed 9514 times
This is what I see (Resolume 7):

- What I see - there is no COMPOSITION "POSITION"
- Screen Shot 2020-04-22 at 6.11.47 AM.png (49.34 KiB) Viewed 9514 times
HELP!
Go slow, STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS, please!

No, the video is from a Resolume native solution.
You need to map the keyboard shortcuts yourself to make it work.
Click on the highlighted layer position slider, then hit your key and set the options.
Shortcut mode to mouse.
Repeat for the number of layers you want to control.
You can read more about how to set up keyboard shortcuts here:
https://resolume.com/support/en/keyboard-shortcuts
Once set up, hold your key and move the mouse.
The clickable timeline is a different thing but does the same.
It's an app you can run on the same machine, enable OSC input in Resolume on port 7000, output port on 7001, then start the app.
for mac:

for win:

It's free, You don't have to register or buy anything

Well, I wish you were here so that we could interact more clearly.
Okay, I figured out that you set ALL CHANNELS (Layers) to the SAME KEYBOARD DIGIT "1," so I did the same (correct if I did this wrong):

- ALL LAYERS ASSIGNED TO SHORTCUT KEYBOARD "1"
- Screen Shot 2020-04-22 at 6.33.52 AM.png (27.85 KiB) Viewed 9512 times
Next, I go to the SHORTCUTS tab and leave the setting at "POSITION," but change to "MOUSE."

- POSITION; MOUSE
In your YouTube video example, where the mini keyboard is displayed, I think you are HOLDING DOWN the "1" key. I do this, but then when I move the mouse, NOTHING HAPPENS in Arena.
I am back on Version 6 because you did not specify if this will work on Version 7.
Do I have to somehow SELECT WHICH LAYERS I want the mouse movement to control? Or was that already determined when I "EDIT KEYBOARD" and assigned "1" to each layer?

You need to hire me to write manuals and training videos for you.
LOL - Jesus this was frustrating when you don't know how and are guessing.

I said it's broken for audio in v7 and works fine in v6.

Yes, the shortcuts define what you want to control.
The screenshots look fine, it should work on Audio-Video clips. Won't work on Sources.

The support page is pretty specific on how to map a keyboard shortcut. Where did you get lost in the process?

Thanks, Zoltan.
This doesn't work. While all layers do scrub, there is an issue (at least on Mac, with High Sierra). The audio and video go way out of sync.
I'll make a video in a few days, and give you a private password and link via Vimeo.
I appreciate your time and patience with me.
If you are such a genius in writing patches like this, I KNOW YOU CAN write something to solve this problem. I use to write code myself as a published author, but don't any more.
Please make sure a NEW FEATURE ticket is made, for entering time code in HH:MM:SS:FF format to make this happen.
Thanks!

Yes, that's what's broken in v7, but for me on mac it works fine with v6 with DXV videos and mp4.

You can already enter time code in the format HH:MM:SS.FF or MM:SS or MM:SS.FF for video clips for audio clips you can enter HH:MM:SS.Milliseconds similarly, but only on one clip at a time.

I sent you a small gift via PayPal for breakfast.
I will try your "CLICKABLE TIMELINE" Patch on Version 6 and get back to you.
Thanks for the demo video on your last message – that helps. If Resolume can make the timecode entry on ALL LAYERS that one selects, that would solve this issue, and do it in under <5 seconds! Get to work!

Zoltan,
How do I prevent the "L:11111111111" from coming onto the screen... this is obviously me holding down the "1" macro. This is only on the Arena 'Advanced Output' preview – I hope it does not go out to the SDI ports on the Blackmagic Design SDI card which feeds the video monitors and projectors.

- L 11111111
If I can't prevent this, how do I 'clear' the screen?
