A couple of things about audio analysis and linking to effects parameters:

It would be great if parameters could be inversly linked to frequency bands as well as positively linked.

It would be great if each parameter could have min/max settings (implemented like the inpoint/outpoint markers) to constrain the settings they take from audio (or the range they loop/bounce between)

another thing I don't see on the interface is the ability of the alpha on layers to bounce with frequencies?

to Dan: yes both your sugestions will be implemented we just did not have the time for this ;-)

to Lucidhouse: we indeed have not done this but we will if time permits

a good thing is about the fact that v 2 will not need new harware. i hope it will be really like that. so the speed and efficiency, stability of the software is the most important thing.

what about if i do not have a 16/9 screen? i won't be able to see the 3 windows on left...right?

about layout colors: i like grey and pink (pink a bit less, maybe could be nice to can change it in orange, red, or other brilliant colors..)

respect

i like vdmx layout: http://www.vidvox.net/products/vdmx/img/traditional.jpg

what i was really hoping for was a beat counter with a tap button (and a key mapping for easy tapping), to sync to the music (so you can manually set it) and be able to drive playspeed between looppoint or a whole movie and also be able to drive the parameters for effects with it aswell as transparency levels for the 3 channels.

beat sync is the only thing i've been missing so far with resolume. but i don't think the audio interpetation as i can see it in the sneak preview is gonna cut it for me (i like to tap).

thanx anyhow for this great program! it's da bomb

Does the audio response can control the speed of a clip ?

Link to the loop control, a high frequence like a roll of snare can increase the speed of the assigned clip.

Or as an other example, On a 4x4 kick pattern.. the clip when it reach the max play at a normal speed... and decelarate until it reach the min... is it possible?

I also can't wait for 2.0!

But please 1 f/x per layer and one or more main instead of 3 main!!

Also please min and max settings for each f/x parameter!!

And some sort of clip speed control! Tim Redfern's custom clip player for winamp avs had great options!

firewire camcorder control (fwd, rew, play, stop, etc.) like isadora would be cool too

Yeah 1 effect per layer is better then 3 main f/x

for the rest, I already saw it running and damn!

I can't wait!!!!!!!!!

one effect per layer sounds more logical and effective, i'll go for that even withought a global for now..
