I second a BPM and tap tempo, maybe as a second switch transition, I actually favour BPM over audio analyse which always looks a bit random, abit in time to me, generally its worse than random as it almost works but generally doesnt quite.....
Also I think Syzygy sugested range setting, like in/out points in clips, for FX, I think that would be good too, sometimes you just want the middle bits of a slider not all of it....

i have to agree that right-clicking to remove a clip from a layer was a great feature that should still be included in v2.0.

Customizable fonts and colours
Right-click to remove a clip
Reinstate the mouse scroll wheel in the file list (playback pauses if you click on the slider and hold. Another "feature"?)

I'll second saving screen settings.
Also as more tasty functions are now available, could be very usefull to be able to customise certain areas...
for example I usualy only use aboute 5 of the layer overlay modes eg (difference, brightness, etc..) having quick access to your favourites will be good.

at the moment you have to press f1 f2 f3 or a custom midi note to activate the layer you want to work in. i would really like to see an midi option that if you move the opacity slider on your midicontroller automatically also the layer gets activated for changing clips or effects. so you dont have to press al the time first your midi button to activate layer 1, 2 or 3 and than do things like changing but to activate layer 1, 2 or 3 with you opacity sliders.
that would reduce some thinking during the evening. during vjing i dont like to tink to much just go with the music.
ciao

regarding the right click to remove clip thing...
lot's of people have been asking for effects on layers rather than just the global effects.
If the resolume guys do add effects for layers, the effects will need to be accessed through a right click (like with effects on channels)
I wonder why the resolume guys have replaced right click to clear layer - could they be paving the way for effects on layers?
I hope so! I'd happily give up right click to clear layer if it means we get effects on layers!
Dan.
