would using more RAM improve the performance.

Hmm.. I don't think so... but It should be possible to load more clips in one deck without crashing resolume.....That would be sooooo nice.

if you have enough ram you can create a ramdrive and copy (some of) your clips from your deck on it.

Ah thats cool. Im well up for 64bit if its going to improve performance!

could you give a hint as to if its worth shelling out on irmapio or holding back on the upgrade being as im a poor student who wont get his loan till october
