Hey guys! I was only explaining my best guess at what Armin is using in his video, with an explanation on how to DJ with it. I have yet to figure out how Resolume reads and reacts to SMPTE (help?). I can't be the first person to just send SMPTE to Resolume. I just purchased a nice sound card with 2 inputs today and I have the system running fine. I have a CDJ sending SMPTE to My computer running Resolume using the DJ setup in my last reply. http://i.imgur.com/fNApwfO.png

As for acquiring the signal itself, here!

Don't be fooled by the file size! It is a very simple signal so it doesn't take much to create this 4-5min signal. It's .WAV too!

I'll ask around, have some buddies who started with SMPTE.

Just started testing with a SMPTE setup, having a mono audio track on my left channel (I play out in mono anyway), and the SMPTE signal on the right channel, with the SMPTE signal being fed to the laptop running Resolume.
Up to now things have been running surprisingly smooth.

Is anybody else using this setup? Any pitfalls they came across?

This might help you further: https://resolume.com/support/en/smpte
If not, at which point do you get stuck in your setup?
