Haven't really had a problem until now, because I mostly record to DV, which generates a 1:1 copy of the mix speed. Didn't had the DV around so I tried the recording function. Is there a trick with the fps?

yes the recorder drops frames if it can,t keep up with streaming to hardrive so thats why it appears to be faster then the original, because there are missing frames and the speed is still 25 fps.

it,s not really a bug you just need a really fast hd if you want to use it for longer recordings. for small samples it works quite nice even if your hd is not too fast.

so it,s best to record the output on dv if you want to make a showreel or something like that.

Ok, clear, thought as much :)

When will the final final be released? The most irritating bug is the active channel midi one, is this notified by you guys, or am I screwing something up?

Thanks!

on resolume 2.1

sometimes, i can lost a layer... simply it doesnt responds me, plays the clip i dragged.

also there suppose to be an easy error check on clips maybe a script therefore I can simply detect the malfunctioning video clips.

preview in files selection is very handy but it also hangs up the system on malfunctioning video clips.

sometimes, on the preview pane, after switching to dual screen, I can not see the preview but only a white frame.

hi guys, I use an IBM thinkpad r50p with ATi radeon firegl, from the versions 2.0 beta, retail and 2.1 it always crashes when trying to change (apply) the multimon settings. The other thing is that it never happend to quit resolume in a normal way, only just terminating the process. May i hope to fix this bugs? Would be great.

2.1 bugs

Yep, resolume is fantastic....when it works...
well done Bart + eddy, but still there are a fews bugs,

- res 2.1 doesn't play some small avis (encoded with microsoft video codec)(i will send them to you bart ) when version 2.0 does play them.

- Wipes / Squares is awesome, but seems to created an unwanted feedback fx
when pushing slider up and down , especially with clips containing a lot of
black (gives a strange luma key unwanted look)
- res 2.1 has wiped out all my personal short cuts (anyone knows how to
import short cuts from one version to another ?

decks:
decks file size is greatly improved 300k max when the same deck was 3 megs in reso beta 2.
res 2.1 have some trouble loading old decks.
if you re-save that old deck in res 2.1 its file size decrease down to 10times. (bart tell me if i'm wrong)
if you still having troubles, re Do the deck in res 2.1.

speed accuracy problems
it would be great to be able to type in a value, because for the moment the speed slider has only got increments of 2 (25 ftps or 23 ftps) or sometimes 24 ftps or 22 ftps.

i looove resolume, its 2.1 version is not yet very stable, which can be nerve wrecking when vjing in front of a crowd, but keep on the good work, as version 2.0 is now stable.
