another play mode option 'tap' - so that a clip only plays whilst its key is held down, thus allowing you to very easily tap video on and off in time with whatever you want.

I want the ability for multiple persons to work through this, the suggestion for midi locked to one layer is good, but how bout an input from another laptop to come in as a video input, so a firewire/usb streaming out funtion, and a compatible firewire/usb streaming in to a clip field. This would be sweet for my purposes

They already have a video input, just pick up a usb capture device.

They're already there for the midi mapping...but why
not for the generators???? Shortens the set-up time for a gig

so,... what about a small step-sequencer (16/8 steps)? Or layer affected effects, not only on a clip or global affected.

But I also like it the way it is (no skins, PLEASE!)

i would like to integrate the avs from winamp. that would be really nice!!

one good thing would be to have the possibility to create different key frame in a single clip line and then moving in play-randomplay inside (like in VDMX). now we only have the chance to change select 1 portion on the clip line.
