A year ago there was a topic about the question “should resolume send midi out signals”. A lot of people liked this very much.

Since I bought myself a BCR2000 midi controller I also went very keen about this feature. I would be very nice if midi out is supported in the new upcoming version of resolume.

An Idea for the Midi Clock:

If you could set clips/effects/in/out ect to trigger on a certain BPM count that would be dope.

Addtionally for effects if they could be set for on/off in addtion to the "A" slider that would be grand. Then I could assign that to a midi or keyboard key to make for more dramatic effect use. Then the effect could stay loaded on the clip or effect slot. On top of that if the effect "A" intestity slider of the effect could be linked into the frequency analylizer to trigger with the beats Ahhhhhhh that would be the promised land. Then of couse the BPM clock could be integrated to trigger effects at certain BPM values and well then I think I would find wealth women wine and song beyond compare.

Or alternately nerd out in my basement unitll my next show.

Hi guys....

could you enable function from older versions of RESOLUME - random playback in FULL LENGHT of video? New Resolume is able to jump only in first 1/4 of loaded video, if this video is longer. Why? This is limitation. I can live without big package of great filters but I need absolute control over playback all time. I used this function very much in past to be able naturally move on timeline, I miss this very much now and I am not the only one. Pls tune your soft very carefully, always is better simple and perfectly working instrument, than product with many bad working "astonishing" features. Also ergonomy of new versions is problematic for me, due smaller space for file browser. Decks are useable, but when you improvise you still need to move in file system very easily and pleasantly.

So please, try to add new features, but dont forget, that simlicity and intuitivity was the the main characteristic feature of Resolume among other softwares ever.

And I hope you will repair that random playback function, now it looks as a bug :)

Thank you :)
