I love the random function its a great way to build energy. But I was wondering if it was possible to see a less random version of random. Maybe make it so it jumps to a frame and plays some then jumps to a random frame and plays some more and so on and so forth... Like a stutter or something?

You can set the clip's playback to BPM Sync. Then the random mode is actually a drunk walk, where it plays a few beats and skips to another random beat.
