Resolume or Madmapper? Triplehead or Doublehead?

I have a newbie question. I've been asked to do a video mapping/video mixing performance on a building surface. The surface of the building is about 30m wide and 15m height. I'm thinking to use either 2 or 3 projectors depending on the brightness of the projectors. My questions are:
1. If I use 2 projectors with Resolume +TripleHead2Go the 3rd screen will be used as the interface of Resolume? I'm on Macbook Pro. Or I can use Doublehead2Go and the screen on my laptop doesn't count?
2. I'm still debating whether I should use Madmapper/Modul8 or Resolume. Someone told me that edge blending works much better with Resolume. Is that so?
3. My Macbook Pro is 2.8GHZ Intel Core i7 and 8GB of RAM. Should I stick with 1600x600 (2 800x600 screens) or I can go HD resolution? My plan is to have pre-recorded movie clip playing and have 2~3 layers over it for live mixing.
Please let me know what you think. Thanks a bunch in advance!!
