Transport In and Out Bug

I'll try my best to explain this bug I've come across today while scripting a corporate award show.
The basic concept is that I have a composition 4096x768 that has a Scrolling Marque. The background layer is the building and black part of the Marque. I've rendered out the scrolling text to scroll on for 2 second hold for 1 seconds and then scroll off for 2 seconds. Then in resolume I've scripted the transport when
Column's 1 trigger plays the first 2 seconds of the clip and hold, the next
Column's 2 trigger is a Ignore Column Trigger while a another layer plays an award module.
Column's 3 trigger is to play the same clip's remain 2 sec's
Everything so far is ok and the marque scrolls on holds and then scrolls off. Next is where is BUG is
Column's 4 trigger is a new Scrolling Clip however instead of playing the clip from the beginning it jumps right to the spot where the clip is paused. If I trigger the same column again the clip does reload and play properly.
The work around is to edit the clip in Final Cut or Render it out again to just the needed frames and play and pause at the end. I think the bug is in moving the right time handle in the clip transport and enabling pause at end of clip.
Note
All the clips are Rendered in DXV
Hope that makes sense.
