After purchasing two Arena licenses and running it on an LED wall over the weekend I have the following suggestions. I utilized a BM Intensity Pro to achieve this:
[Laptop] ===HDMI(1080p)===> [Rackmount PC] ===VGA(640x480)===> [Video wall]

Functionality Suggestions:
-The master output fader is much smoother than the layer opacity controls (Blending mode was set to "Add"). I never noticed this when using a projector or LCD in the past
-I was given an animated logo with a black bg. I used the lumakey blending mode to get a transparent bg. It would be nice if I could set a min/max value for the layer opacity under the layer property panel. This would prevent the layer opacity from being set too high and thus displaying the bg
-The Chromakey effect should have a box to indicate hue/color. Even better would be an eyedropper to select color.
-It would be really nice if resolume remembered the settings of the capture card. I often put the same capture card in multiple clip slots. I'd suggest this as a per session setting.
-The ability to change the settings of all instances of a single capture card loaded into the clip slots. I have had some success doing this through the control panel with svideo/composite. I was unable to switch between analog/HDMI inputs on Saturday. Further testing is needed though
-When adjusting the height of the property panels, the preview display resizes but the output window stays the same. The result is a preview window that is too small to view
-I've found that many clips seem to run ok at .15 but not at .10. By default the popup for fine adjustment is incrementing by .10. I believe that incrementing in .05 would solve this issue. Higher resolution on the speed adjustment would be nice as well
-I know I mentioned this in an email I wrote the the Resolume team but effects similar to MadApps would be awesome! Customers are very impressed by them
-Some kind of app to view (in gallery style) and/or organize clips. Or possibly generate thumbnail previews for finder/explorer

Performance issues:
-Frame rate sometimes drops when loading a new deck. Is it possible to have an option to load this in the background? I'd love to be able switch this on the fly
-It takes a long time to switch between different decks. Having an SSD helps but is there a way that we could press a button to preload the thumbnails and clip info into RAM? This slowness really impacts my performance.

The master fader has another curve than a layer set to 'add'.

Master fader fades everything up linearly from 0% to 100%.

Add fades in the incoming layer between 0% and 50%. At this point both the layers underneath and the incoming layer are 100% visible. After that it fades out the layers underneath between 50% and 100%, until only the incoming layer is visible. If you want the same curve as the master fader, set the blend mode to alpha or 50 add.

Set the layer opacity to paused timeline, and then set the in and out points how you want.

Yes, we'll be addressing this in the future.

.15 what?

In general this is a personal preference though. What's perfect for you will be too little for someone else. You can always set exact numbers by hand.

Deck switching is discussed at length in other topics. We appreciate your suggestions, but if there was such a simple solution to do it faster, we would have implemented it already.
