Soft Edging in Arena with Double or TripleHead2Go?

Hi guys,
As far as I can tell, the Matrox DoubleHead2Go and TripleHead2Go units make multiple outputs appear as a single output to the computer.
Does this mean that it's not possible to use the soft edging feature of Arena with these addon units, because there is only one output as far as Arena is concerned?
Thanks!
Martin

no... the soft edge is applied on the slice and not on the screen, so it's not a problem
the most common problems with matrox cards come if you use more than 1 (must be digital for multiunit support) and also if you use converters like ethernet or fibre glass

Superb! That has just made my life infinitely easier... I'm still trying to get my head around the various permutations of hardware/graphics cards.
So if I'm working at 1920x1080 x2 (wide), do I make the composition slightly smaller than 2x 1920 wide and then create 2 slices of 1920 wide, which overlap slightly? How do I then assign each of these slices to the specific output, because Arena only sees one out doesn't it?
Cheers!
Martin

if you select a slice, you can define the input and also the output transformation (there are 2 tabs, input and output).
and yes... if you do soft edge then you can lower the horizontal pixels.
