Downgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 7, old is better?

In my new laptop, i quit Windows 8 and I put Windows 7 (I had a critical crash with Win 8)
The "windows experience" in Win 8 was 5,2, now in Windows 7 is 7,2
Old is better?
