Setup using Resol\ume along with CORIOmaster.

HI,
I am part of a AV production team and currently in the research phase of which software would be most suitable for me to use for my events for mapping, blending, multiple layers, etc.
I have pretty much finalized on Resolume as the software of my choice (as of now) However, as i may require some advanced functions mainly to do with multiple input & outputs, i was considering buying the CORIOmaster C3-540.
I do not have the option of seeing a demo immediately, and hence wanted to know if anyone has used Resolume on a laptop / Computer and inputted the signal into CorioMaster and further outputted it in any which way required.
Basically, I am confused if Resolume will work with Coriomaster or not, since Corio master also has its own proprietary software, will it be a problem? and if it does work, what are the drawbacks i can expect.
specifically one question comes to mind, if Coriomaster has its own software, does all content need to be routed through its software interface, or can it be bypassed by directly outputting the resolume content via the I/O slots on corio??
