though Resolume seems to recognize my SB-Live Soundcard (on the start it 'reacts' by changing the volume-level) and the line-in input is 'on' (recording in wavelab for example works perfect) the audio analyzer doesn't take effect on the input (seem 'offline')?! What could be the Problem, what the solution?

It´s true I also get problems with audio analysys. With the volume controlls properlly set and everything, resolume sometimes just doesn´t care. I reinstall it and then sometimes works fine and then not and i´m confussed.

make sure your sound card is set to the default audio device.
If you have an external sound-card it is sometimes not the default one.

go to controlpanel->Sounds and Audio Devices
then select the audio tab and check wether your default device is set to the device you want to use.

cheers

I had a few times that resolume used my internal laptop microphone, instead of my external microphone. It happens!

But after restart of resolume it recognizes my ext. microphone. If your ext. microphone has an 'on/off switch' be shure its turned on before starting resolume.
