Hello
i've been asked by a client to calculate the cost to do something similar to this :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNbArP6wr2M#t=0

the building to map is almost as tall as the one in the video but there is no other buildings near to it.

Could you help me to understand better the nokia mapping ?

For instance in the end of the video it looks like they used 6 projectors but i dont know how powerfull they should be how much lumens ?
also at what distance to fill the whole building with projection ?

the video projection looks like one big image so i guess they use blending.

how much do you think it would cost ?

thanks in advance :)

Get help... find some agency did this stuff before and ask them....

if u rly want to do it yourselfe:

first try to find how many projektors you will need.
-->Lumen / m²
then find where u can rent this stuff and how much the company want for them.
also the place were they could stand ( maybe u have to build s.th. as well)

1. rent prize maybe with set up (man power)
2. the time & money you want to have to set all up
and dont forget about permisions and power

were are u plaing this ?! city ?!
i may have an adress or number 4 you

Hello

that video was extremely helpful,

so i found its 16 projectors located at 120 meters of altitude ,
they said it was 300 meters away from building to projectors

all the building was covered with vinyl so the projection could be seen .

in our company we can handle productions of video mapping for small buildings and interactive installations but for this project (in case we sell it) we would be hiring other teams for production, legal issues(permissions) and im almost sure we had to rent cranes to lift up projectors, computers and people.

my main doubt is about projectors how much lumens and a provider who can rent 16 of them.

For now we have to give an aproximate cost so the client can decide if it fits their budget for their marketing campaign and if the client is happy we would start calculating exactly the cost.

He2neg cant reveal the exact location but the installation is for Mexico City.
