DeckLink Outputs via OpenMax IL

I know this topic has been asked many times, but here one more thread.

It would awesome if we could harness the outputs of the Blackmagic Deck Link Cards. I totally understand that they are not capable of the OpenGL that is required, but there seems to be something new on VLC's 2.1.2 that might help. They are claiming a new feature of "New outputs for OpenMax IL on mobile and Decklink Blackmagic."
Is it possible under the advanced output to have your GPU process the the composition but use a hook into either the Blackmagic SDK or OpenMax IL to duplicated or redirect the signal.

Very little to do with Res/3rd party. Yes, they could develop their own hooks into the SDK to allow such, but requires a complete rewrite of the drivers to allow simultaneous I/O, while keeping proper function. For most 3rd party developers, this is to much - they have their own software to worry about.

BMD sucks at customer service/relation. They have a great idea/product but completely fail in delivery. They release software that doesn't work (Resolve 10 was a nightmare until 10.1, still bugs). Announce stuff and NEVER release it, with NO explanation. I based my purchase of the Decklink 4K Extreme on a press release in September of last year. They announce Desktop Video 10, a complete driver rewrite for speed and simultaneous I/O on the higher end 4K products; it's now pretty much February and their only response is "we don't know"

Email BMD, bug the sh!t out of them to release this. "soon" doesn't cut it 5 months late.
Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately we do not have an update on a release time-frame for this. We do expect it soon, but are unable to give a specific release time since it is still under development.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

On a positive, I do get higher resolutions, I'm able to use the HDMI for touring VJs. There's about a 2-3 frame delay, which I was hoping that DV10 could fix, but everyone is happy with it for now.
