Video converter for linux

i have lots of footage (about 5000 movies) to convert but i need to put all my PC's working to end it quick
but i only have one PC with windows the other 10 have linux (fedora core 3)

Anyone knows any video converter for linux that supports:
- MOV
- AVI
- WMV
- MPEG

it would be nice if the software suports cluster system :)

It's been a while since I've done this, but I did the same thing once before. I had a bunch of linux boxes (debian) act as a farm rendering machine. However, I do remember I used a windows emulator in conjunction with a program called Muster. Search for muster online - basically it distributes a batch of renders across various machines (yes it's inter platform compatible) using render engines that you already have. The one I remember using was the After Effects render engine. I needed a windows emulator program to get the after effects engine running properly on the linux boxes.

This is all off the top of my head - if I remember more on how I did this, I will definately post and let you know...

i do not whan't to render any animation
i have already the videos/animations i whan't to convert then to another format

That's exactly what I'm talking about... It only uses the after effects render engine to convert clips from one format to another, not to render original after effects animations.
