Smooth playback,without stuttering-impossible on Resolume?

It's impossible smoothly play videoclips, movies on Resolume. After some time[30-60 seconds] they will start stuttering.Nothing helps - [new iMac 2013 with best specs],different codecs, bitreates, resolutions, frame rates,Hz-s...only one layer.I only need mix from one clip to second - without effects-simple dissolve.Does anybody have idea?Which process affects framerate synhro?I have tired to make experiments-more than one year - when i bought Resolume.Maybe double framerate all footage?A little bit stupid.I have a thousands of specially prepared videoclips, movies mixes[25Fps - H.264,ProRes or PhotoJpg - mainly good 720p quality, directly from BD-s - all play correct only first 30 seconds...].Before Resolume i bought Modul8,but it is not suitable for many music videos mixing.I see on forum - this is a global problem - many artists are disappointed.I understand - this is not a problem for dance clubs, where we need aggressive, strobbing, short video loops.I am not using DXV codec, because it's poor quality[edges].Only for some layers with alpha.
It seems, this is not only Resolume fault, but also operating systems,Quick Time specifics....This problem also affects Windows systems computers. Please some answer from Resolume technicians!!! Of course - professional server systems, like Green Hippo with their own hardware makes possibly high quality playback, but this can afford only large companies...
I hope, the next update 4.1.9 will be soon, because Resolume crashes on Maverics - for this i installed second older system.

Whats wrong with DXV? If your source material has been rendered in a good quality, converting to DXV shouldn't make your clip quality horrible.. If you use DXV, a lot of these non-smooth playback issues will disappear like THAT!

These all problems goes also with DXV codec.DXV codec by definition makes dirty edges on picture. You can see it if you zoom in your coded file.In black and white movies it's dramatic. This is a fact.

I'm sorry but this is news to me! I have never faced any issues whatsoever with DXV files ..and certainly not the ones you are mentioning. I hope you find a way to solve your issues with it.

Sorry.Different systems tasted, communicated with many Vj-s.After 30-60 seconds Resolume starts stuttering video.Tasted all suitable kind of codecs, fresh rates,on clean systems. Most powerful processors and graphics.Better these artifacts we can see on horizontal movements.Typical answer - Quick time player or VLC these videos plays smoothly, through Resolume - not.If we search in forum - also Resolume members accepts, that this is a problem not solved yet.DXV codec priority - only lower processor work.I think - if you have a powerful computer,it doesn't matter, which codec you are using[DXV,PhotoJpg,ProRes or H.264],and with audio PCM.In last sets i am using QuickTime H.264 720p PCM.Before stuttering they are playing good.Of course, when i am planning to make some manipulations with graphs, then i will transcode to PhotoJpeg.Only for pure playback H.264/75% quality is a good compromise.Befor it starts stuttering.......DXV codec makes dirty edges, suitable for simple projects, schools, smoked dance clubs, where we don't need fine quality.

The smooth playback is indeed a known issue, and is indeed not primarily related to codec choice. The issue is discussed at great length and technical detail in the following thread:

This thread also contains several technical and practical replies from us. If you have any questions not covered in that thread, I kindly ask you to post them in that thread. Starting yet another new topic does not help for clarity and does not contribute to solving the problem.
