When I use a line in and the audio eq to drive effects, the eq is actually slightly delayed - this causes my audio driven effects to be a little late. I was wondering if this was a resolume problem, or a hardware problem on my end. I am using the onboard sound of my comp, which needless to say has minimum capablities. Just wondering if upgrading to say a SB audigy would do the trick, or if this is just the way resolume is.

Athlon64 3000+, 2gb ddr, radeon 9800 pro256 .... etc - the other specs don't mean much for this issue. The onboard sound is a cmi7838 - very common for newer onboard sound chipsets. I'm using the line-in jack to drive the effects.

yes we heard this from more people and someone mentioned that this did not happen with an external usb soundcard. (like a hercules dj console) but obviously this is no sollution so we are looking into this if it is at all possible for of to fix or if it is really a hardware problem that occurs with some hardware.
