Video DJ's Using Mix Emergency

Is there any Video DJ's using Mix Emergency or Serato Video on this forum? I'm building some advanced VJ packs for use by Video DJ's who want more than ME or Serato Video has to offer. Anyone interested in getting my templates let me know.

YES i would love too. And hopefully someone can help me get it dialed in.

1st I want to state I'm using a BRAND NEW MacBook Pro Retina with the 2gb video card. So if this computer isn't powerful enough todo this than no laptop is.

1st Mixemergency is a simple (yet powerful) video program, that plays the decoded video file from a MP4 file loaded into Serato. Its a 3rd party version of serato's "Serato Video". And anyone who is any good uses it over serato's.

But I want more. I spend a lot of time setting up my video software to work without me thinking about it. I concentrate on the music. I'm DJ 1st, and video is my USF to get more higher paying gigs.

So my 1st thought it so map all of my audio controls to effect the video in some way also.

The creator of ME sent me a quartz file that i drop into ME's effects bank and it allows me to syphon video out to any software and then send it back in. I use Resolume clearly. So I have 2 layers one for each deck. those layers (using the advanced mapping) are sent back to ME for mixing (from A to B) then outputted again to Resolume for mapping and to have overlays added. I have used a twitter live feed in the past. I also put club logos on the very top layer. I got everything "working" but I'm dropping down to 15FPS and thats not acceptable. I'm not running HD as I find HD overrated (because there's no clubs locally that have HD video systems). My outputs of each deck are 640x480 (which i the size of the videos also, so no scaling). playback is fine until I add any effects. I dont want lots of effect, but it would be nice to have my High Mid Low controls on the mixer control the RGB add subtract or some other sorts of effect along that line.

Any ideas on how to get the frame rate higher. If anyone wants my template's for ME or Resolume to test it out for themselves let me know I will PM you a dropbox link. If you dont own ME the demo is fully functional (with a 30 min time limit, then restarts) So you can always test it out.

ME actually did an update since my 1st post and I am doing some of the things that I wanted todo with resolume in ME, but I still cant map my EQ controls along with a bunch of others.

So basically your giving us a 15fps template? :D
You might want to post the issues your are experiencing in
the problems section of the forum -as a separate thread.
good luck.
