Hi!

I've just bought Logitech C930e and it has a problem working smoothly in Resolume. Although it is seen without any problems and I can put it on a layer, the image is not very smooth. When I run it in Logitech Software I can change the options from 720p (not smooth, HD), to 360p (smooth, HD). Very strange descriptions but whatever - it works. Unortunately Resolume only reads the 720p, without any possibility to change it. Any of you had some success with this webcam?

If someone is interested I finally found a solution. It is a software called e2eSoft VCAM. It install the virtual camera driver, which appears as an input device in Resolume. I treat it as an camera. You need to run the program and select c930e as a capture device and set the codec to MJPEG. Now you the view is very smooth even in FULL HD. Additionaly you have to change the windows drivers for the logitech cam. The default driver is called "Logitech C930e". You need to update the driver to "Video capture device". Now there will be no delays in the camera image.

I still have a problem with C930e. Reading a lot of different forums I came into one conclusion:

- does Resolume have access to MJPEG color space using webcam sources?

Using the C930e in Resolume is giving very low framerate (5-10fps max) which is only possible in YUV2 compression. In MJPEG it should work good, but unfortunately it looks like Resolume cannot access this one...
