I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner, but I've been wishing for something like a FREE waveclock type of detection software... Haven't been able to find anything in the forums. If there is a better solution, please let me know! (and apologies for the redundancy)
"BPM Detector" by Sandberg Sound seems to do a fairly decent job. It's free... It doesn't show a decimal, but I think it will help minimize the effort "babysitting" the bpm via tapping. Tapping gets close, but I kind of feel better having technology spell it out for me. Maybe it will get down to a decimal place in a future version... Maybe there is a better alternative for iOS??
