Resolume Forum

A friend offered me his old mac book pro to give it a try, so I downloaded Resolume Arena trial version, but it won't even install. Is this computer not enough? As far as I read it has enough ram, hd and processor.

geforce 8600 gt
GPU
512 mb

Mac osX 10.6.8

The message only reads "the installation failed. an unknown error ocurred"

It has already some demanding visual softwares installed. Isadora, Millumin, Processing, Arkaos, Qlab. Is it posible that one of this is causing conflict?

On the 4.1.7 release, we made Resolume compliant with Gatekeeper. You know, that annoying popup that says that Resolume cannot be installed because it's not from a trusted developer.

We fixed that, but apparently this is now causing problems with installing on older versions of OSX. Sigh.

Can you give it a try with OSX 10.7 or higher, or an earlier version of Resolume (4.1.6 or earlier)?
