Problems using WaveClock with Resolume Avenue 4.1.8

Hello Resolume gurus...
I'm having trouble using the latest version of Resolume Avenue with Waveclock (http://wavesum.net) for BPM sync. I've installed Waveclock successfully using the MIDI audio setup window (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgFA_fdup7g#t=95) and I've gotten Resolume to successfully sync to Waveclock's BMP signal (i.e., after ticking the "Clock Input" box within the MIDI Preferences, Resolume's blue "MIDI Clock Indicator" flashes and Resolume's BPM Clock successfully tracks the music). But when individual clips are set to "BPM Sync" and I try to play them, only the first selected clip plays. Clicking any other clip has no affect, and the blue bar in the newly selected clip window stays solid and never "counts down" from four beats to zero. By contrast, when I turn off the MIDI sync/Waveclock input, all "BPM Sync" clips play as they should, waiting until the next downbeat to start playback.
Am I missing something with this setup? Waveclock seems to offer so much, but if clips can't even be played in BPM mode, what's the point? Thanks to anyone who can help me out!!!
