User defined OSC ranges

I'd love to be able to define the OSC ranges for any clip/layer/composition OSC commands to get more precise outcomes when I use OSC commands.
For instance if my comp is 1024x768, I could adjust all the range as follows:
/layer3/video/positionx/values (Float 0.0 - 1.0) range (-1280 - 1280) instead of (-16384.0 - 16384.0)
/layer3/video/positiony/values (Float 0.0 - 1.0) range (-1280 - 1280) instead of (-16384.0 - 16384.0)
This is of course an example that assumes all media is 1024x768 and everything is at 100% scale. In this case, that would allow me to rotate 360˚ out of sight in any direction but allow for more precise placement.
The defaut range values would still be what you currently have in there but there'd be an option to change these values as needed. I understand that it could quickly get complicated and out of hand but that would be great!
Anyone else could use this?
