A few questions for you:
- How big is your composition (pixel size and number of layers)?
- Have you tried to record with a small composition?
- Which version of Resolume are you running?
- Have you tried to uninstall it and reinstall it.
Keep in mind that Resolume is a 32-bit application so even though you've got 128GB of RAM it's limited to4GB so if you are running a large composition, you may be running out of memory.
Joris, when Resolume runs on a 64-bit OS, is the GPU part of the 4GB limitation or is separate?

Sometimes, computers do need rest as well
Your comp seems pretty small so there shouldn't be any problems with the recording. Any idea if you have any other taxing processes when the recording was not working?
