fluctuations in FPS [solved]

Hello all,
I have succsefully used a resolume setup with 6 individal (resolution, connection) outputs, two of them Monitors and 4 Projectors, to mix 3 full HD live sources (dealy of 5 frames in 25p from camera to projector) and random videos including transparency with alpha channel. With up to 12 videolayers at the same time, i routet the displays in an realy big composition (5760x2280) due to the still missing fix of the advanced output slice alphachannel problem *edit seems to be fixed now Hurray !!
I see that with adding more layers and outputs, the framerate (output&preview monitor show fps) will drop from nearly 60fps (empty composition) to something like 24fps (12 active layers, 5 outputs).
I now have a new system and experiencing strange fps fluctuations, which i cant realy comprehend.
On an empty compostion fps are stable around 60. Adding one Live source cuts the fps to nearly 30, but then it starts fluctuating every now and then(from 30 to 59 back to 45 to 19 and back to 30). If i add another 3 layers fps stay near 30 with them fluctuations.
so, my questions are:
Why is ther an instant fps break down to "stable" 30fps when adding one source ?
Why are there fluctuations in the fps while iam not doing anything ?
Thanks in advance
Ps: could it be a problem with other devices like ethernet cards or something ? I once had problems with a soundcard, which had fluctuations in latenzy because of another device. *edit: i run DPC checker but no drop-outs.
Pss: The problems occure on the latest trail version of resolume. My last setup was registert.
Psss: the fps on the output screens seem to be stable during fluctuations
edit: i used GPU-Z to analyse the GPU behavior during fluctuations. GPU clock speed is constant on maximum perfomance and GPU load is constant at 27-33%
SOLUTION:
Nvidea sytemcontroll -> 3d-settings -> vertical sync
Set the vertical sync NOT to enabeld
adaptive -> your fps are caped at 60fps and will constanly decrease while adding effects and layers (of course only visible change when they go under 60fps)
off -> will give you maximim output, on an empty comp i have 92fps, will constanly decrease while adding effects and layers
