Exchanging App Window on 2nd Output

Hi.
I am used to run some applications and Resolume at the same time.
On the Mac side, even using Mac OS and Windows on Parallels, I can easily exchange between Mac and PC applications, so easily exchange what is to be displayed in the 2nd monitor output, by simply "alt tab" or "option tab", whatever. Works beautifully.

But in the PC side It seems that can´t do the same thing between applications. Resolume is allways on top, no matter which application I select (alt tab).

Spout is not an option at this time since the used apps are not Spout supportive.

The only solution I found so far is to keep on disable/enable Resolume output averytime I want to hard cut the output.

Any other ideas?

Thank you!

Are you complaining that you can put a window on top of the secondary full screen output? If so I'm pretty sure this was done on purpose.

No.
I like running iWall (Text to Screen Application) and Resolume at the same time.
On the good days, on the PC side, I could just load iWall FlashEngine.swf output into a Resolume deck.
This is no longer possible and no longer supported by iWall. Resolume will crash.

So, after a while I exchanged to the Mac.
On the Mac, iWall (which is a windows app) was always running on Parallels.
The FlashEngine.swf window was then pushed over to the 2nd output display zone and "ctrl + f" to full screen it.
Perfect.
Resolume was also running on Mac, so it was all about (whatever is the hot key to "alt +tab" on mac) and presto!
I could easily exchange the 2nd display output from the iWall FlashEngine to Resolume.

Now I am back to the PC world, once again. Both applications are running. Same O.S. And I can´t do the same thing. Resolume is allways on top.

you could use a virtual webcam driver like VH Screen Capture,
you can set it to any area of the screen, and then it will show up in the sources list in resolume as a webcam.
just set it to the area where your text is displayed,

btw don't click its settings in resolume - it will crash!

I was looking after some virtual cam like that to do it, but all tested couldn´t be locked to a specific application. I was also worried about the possible size of temporary files. I was advised not to abuse of temporary files while running an SSD drive.

I will check that for sure.

Thanks
