Hey all

I want to use two GoPro's as live source inputs into a dual Thunderbolt MBP running Resolume, with minimal lag, and to be able to switch between them.

- Could I simply use mini-HDMI/HDMI/Mini Display adapters to get the two GoPro sources directly into the MBP?
- Or would I need a heftier (BlackMagic or some kind?) converter for each signal?
- Or should I bring both signals into a bad-ass switcher (BlackMagic of some kind?) and switch the feeds there, upstream of the MBP, before going into either one of the MBP's Thunderbolt ports, or its HDMI port?

Your HDMI and thunderbolt ports are output only, to capture signal you need a capture device for a mac.

Needing a mixer or using 2 capture cards really depends on how your going to use the signal. If you want to straight mix between sources its probably easier just renting a mixer and one capture card. If you wanna get tricky then use two capture cards but be prepared for your laptop to have increased workload.
