16 effects on master
09 layers
14 decks
40 clips per deck average

I have noticed that the decks take longer to load. My frame rate is still above 30.

Is it better to have more clips with less decks with more columns or less clips with more decks??
Another question is it better to have the effects on the composition or to put them in the clip spots, which will use more cpu? I really like having them as clips for quick triggering of only 1 effect

2.6 i7

It's better to have more decks with less layers and columns per deck. I find that very large decks can cause a project to become unstable. It's better on Macs than Windows however. I have projects that will run on my mac but crash hard when trying to open in Windows.
