Although excited about the final version it still has some hick-ups. Tested it for 6 hours yesterday, needed to restart twice.
Can't help it to say my experience with the final was a bit disappointing. But sure you guys will fix this!

Sense reports;

- Midi bug remains! Effect edit through midi on active channel works sometimes. If it doesn't work opening properties on that channel (RMB) fixes this, but then it only works when properties are open, and sometimes doesn't work at all.

- Preview bug remains! When using thumb mode, the video files won't load after a certain amount of time. (Deleting all files in the preview directory fixes this, but still, made me restart twice, we had a back-up line, so it wasn't to severe, but unable to load, makes the program rather useless

- Edit effects in layers (RMB) doesn't update thumbnail (minor, but perhaps related to active channel midi bug?)

I must add I didn't test it on our workhorse laptop, cause it wanted a coke to drink last week (in repair now), but this shouldn't really be the issue.

Short specs: AMD 2500+, 512mb, 40gig (5400rpm), ati (on board, urgh) IPG 300i, widescreen was nice though!)

first my computer specs,
athlon XP 2400+
asus mobo
geforce 4 ti 4200, with lattest drivers


ive recently just got an old digital projector, and tried hooking it up through resolume. but when i change the settings in resolume 2 to:

display 1: interface with preview
display 2: fullscreen
and click apply it crashes and i have to kill the program with ctrl+ alt+ del. i have tried this in resolume 2.0 beta 1 beta 2 and the final versions all have the same prob

hell even opening up the screen settings and clicking apply crashes it.

guess i should try with a clean install

I hope you won´t discourage with this but I also have some bugs that persist in v 2.0:

1. when trying to aply the "scope" freeframe plugin I Get the message "error creating capture buffer".

2. INTERESTING! The audio analysys won´t work after a couple of times. I think it has to do with the prcedent bug. I uninstalled resolume (but it kept the decks and plugins info) I installed it again and it wouldn´t still work. I uninstalled again this time taking away decks, previews, plugins...And when I reinstall it works again ok. Sounds interesting.

As for the rest I´m really happy with the final version. It has more improvements and new useful features I could ever have imagined and it´s like a dream!. Thank you.

i am using some longer clips and set different in and outpoints. with the final version resolume shows in the deck always the first picture of the clip, wich makes vjing like playing in the dark.
am i the only one with the problem ?

I've got the exact same problem.

I dont have this problem

It's not a problem, it's the normal way.

It has been discussed here before

If you change the in point for the clip the displayed thumbnail will show different pictures (at least in V2 Final, great option.)

i tried to rescue my old decks: move the in point 1 forward, one backward, ok now i have the right picture. now i save it, reload it and all gone.

thats not cool, maybe when you'll register I'll help you.

When you set an effect value on play mode, after a while the position is nog showed.

When you set an effect value on audio synchro then you see nothing about the position.
