Record synced Output Resolume and Ableton

Which workaround do you think is best when making a videoclip/soundtrack? Of course I need a well synced videoclip, In ableton live 9 I made my midi trigger clips to fire videoclips/columns in resolume 4. (both windows 7)
Then I push play in ableton and rec in resolume. I then reopen the recorded movie in my ableton arrangement. Clips are slightly out of sync so I warp the video in ableton. Doesn't seem to be the solution,

I had great results with podcasting ableton and resolume output, which also generated a local audio/video-file on my harddisk. But I'm looking for a real local solution, if possible on one computer and when playing live I want to record both video and audio at once (and if needed on two separate laptops)

The other workaround is to build my videoclip in premiere pro and sync it direct with my audiofile (exported from ableton). Problem is that for live gigs I have to rebuild my resolume video out of my premiere pro footage and still have no solution for the recording of my gigs.

Other options? Spout? Experiences with SMPTE-tracks in ableton, for a tighter synchronization? Please help me out here.

Hi Dandelion,
a solution can be the Open Broadcaster Software HOMELINK!

You have to attach at least one display to your computer which shows the output from Resolume.
Then you have to setup the Open Broadcaster to record your output display and your audio output.

Before you press record you have to configure how OB records your video. MB/s , resolution ect. If you have a SSD and a strong computer you can choose a higher MBit rate.

CONs: Even if you have a high-end computer you will get up to 30% framedrop in Resolume.

thanks for your reply, will check this out soon. already worked with procaster and those results were pretty ok.

would be so nice to have these to programs record their own footage (audio and video) separately AND also have the possibility to combine those two pieces in order to publish this after al little postproduction.

Trying to get things going, hesitating between:

1. FRAPS (less flexible than OBS I think),
2. Open Broadcaster Software (thanks for that tip cosmowe) combined with spout
3. hardware capture component (but... limited budget).

On one computer (studio work)
I have to work with at least 2 virtual audio cables, one coming out of ableton's master straight into open broadcaster software, the other goes into resolume for smpte and of course a midi signal (loopmidi) for firing clips in resolume. (working on one computer is just for making my videoclip at home)

Two computers (live gigs)
the ableton audio will be sent separately out of my audio interface to a 2nd computer that runs resolume and OBS. midi runs over rtpmidi.

Any tips/commends on this approach? Also looking forward to receive tips for capture devices.

Ok, here my final conclusions, for whoever is interested. I have a quite stable one-computer-setup for recording output of ableton AND resolume including external FFT and SMPTE. OBS is the software (60fps and 320bitrate!), looking forward for the new windows release that is announced on their website.
The beauty of this setup is that I even don't have to use any virtual audio cables, thanks to the specs of my Delta1010 audio interface. With some little changes in the windows sound and Delta 1010 control panel I have a separate routing for the master from ableton to OBS and a routing for FFT and SMPTE.
Thanks to your tips: I can change songtempo in ableton resulting in a change of the SMPTE-controlled videoclips in resolume.
Had a lot of issues with the audio but that seems to be covered now. (couple of bsod's later...)

Some further testing: it seems to be much more stable when you turn off asio direct monitoring in the delta 1010 control panel... (keep on testing!)
