Hello everyone

I am willing to project a video animation on a 18*4 meters surface, using 4 HD projectors

Is it possible to blend 4 projectors in Resolume Arena? knowing that the animation has a resolution of 3600*780px
I've seen a video tutorial on how to blend 2 projectors without using any plugin just with resolume Arena, I did a test and it was simple and easy

My computer configuration:
I7 6 cores 3.4Ghz
64Gb of ram

2x Gtx 780Ti working on SLI system ( total of 8 monitor/projector outputs)

You can blend 4 projectors just like you would blend 2 projectors. Just enable [Soft Edge] on all the slices you want to blend.

If you have 1 slice per screen (projector), all the slices that have [Soft Edge] enabled and overlap will blend automatically in the overlap sections so all you have to do is adjust the gamma, luminance and power as needed to optimize the blend.

Actually i've done my show and it went very well.. but there still a little problem, when I load my clip and play it, the video is bugging every 5 - 10 seconds like it pauses for one frame, and it goes back normal and same thing over and over and over..

Does the size of the video file affect the way that resolume read the video? or is it the video output module? compression? or my video cards?

The final video is at 3600*780 pixels, I rendered it in after effects to .mov file using DVX output, with uncompressed sound.. so I had a 7Gb file..

Can you guys tell me where the problem could be?

P.s the video file bugs alot in the beggining but when I did the test and let the video loop for a couple of hours, everything seems to be okay.. I'm really confused o.O

Did you use passive or active adapters?
